Room/Halo was written in 2022 for Insula, an ensemble that I set up in Glasgow. It was one of four premieres which were performed at Insula's inaugral concert at Stereo in May 2022. All for pieces were subsequently recorded.

Programme note:

This piece is an ode to bedroom guitarists and subsequently, and ode to my younger self. My idea for this piece was for a guitarist to be playing some chords on the guitar, which subsequently get accompanied by a halo of sound.
